7 months ago, this amazing human (who goes by the name of Steph Slack) walked into one of my talks at Work.Life and reached out to me at the end of the event to see if I needed any help with The Unconventionalists.
I did.
So Steph jumped on board and worked behind the scenes and pulled out a bunch of show notes for the podcast, wrote blogs and newsletters and was always willing to act as a bouncing board for ideas and feedback.
She never asked anything in return.
I was so grateful for her help and humbled by her dedication that I gave Steph a scholarship to my Impact Accelerator, as amongst other things, it was the least I could do. Even though I knew she would never had expected anything in return.
Why do I know this? Because if there's one thing Steph gets, it's building genuine heart filled relationships.
So when she hosted her first talk General Assembly in London on building authentic relationships I couldn't think of anyone better equipped to drop some knowledge on the subject.
And boy did she deliver! It was such an amazing talk. Everyone walked out of there buzzing.
Especially me.
